Jab They Rocked!!!

Okay!Okay! I'm back to writing movie reviews again...If no other career option works out, maybe I'll grow up to be a film critic, judging by the way I've got Bollywood gyan(or "The Hindi Film Industry" knowledge) at my fingertips.

As they say,'When two cats fight, the monkey gains'...Confused? Allow me to explain- the 'Cats' in this case study would be Om Shanti Om and Sssssaaaaawariyaaaa(i luv fooling around with the spelling!)
The monkey-Jab We Met...So,while the biggies are busy bickering about the date of release...a cute, adorable, enjoyable flick like Jab We Met has already stolen the show. Trust me, u've reached the height of ignorance if u haven't seen it yet. Fantastic performances(I'm not being biased to my favourite actor,Shahid...And yes,Kareena Kapoor has also proved that she actually can act!) Nice characterisation, good script, beautiful locations(read:Manali),great music...all-in all, three blissful hours of entertainment!

In the meanwhile, articleship has finally started and if I tell you that its hectic, then I'm putting it mildly!
Its 'child labour' if you ask me!!!

PCC Class,college,articleship,studies,projects,exams...where's the fun factor in life???!!! We're barely 18!!! lol!:)!:)!:)! But it ain't that bad really. Maybe a tad tiring but I guess its manageable. And I finally know what people mean when they answer the phone n say -"I'm busy. I'll call back." As of now, I'm hoping someone invents a time-turner like the one in the Harry Potter books, so that I can stuff a million things-to-do in 24 hours of a day.

Anyway, I gotta rush. "I'm Busy!". Catch ya later!Toodles!

PS- Happy Birthday, SRK!!!:)

i hav a list of disagreements with the blog!!
1. i PERSONALLY cant accept that Shahid can act
2. Articleship is not CHILD LABOUR.... no1 forced us into it.... infact i luv every bit of it.... they make u climb tanks in stock takin... like Veeru in Sholay

PS: i've been monitoring the war between the ORIGINAL PATRONS and the KING of Bollywood..... its very interesting

from distrubutors point of you... the day of release of the big two cats(movies) is the day of a festival... i.e. a holiday.... I know students have a vacation.. not the working class... so thats when they get maz free time... and catch the market then..

BUt i feel both the movies willl tick well enuf... though im not sure abt their ratings.. but they wqill earn gud amt of money..

Hmmm... Suchita, the film critic?!
Sounds interesting! lol
Okay, so you confess 'Jab We Met' is a "monkey" vich gained coz of two cats fighting?

You bet articleship is "child labour"! :P
Its lil tiring but its kewl too!
Time turner is pretty good idea, but for me, I'd really mess it all up gng back into time! haha!

Well,I'm late as usual...is there really a factor of bad luck at play here?
Point (1)JWM is NOT a great movie (real blunt these days, aren't I ? )- the lead actors ham their way to perfection,be it the over-bubbly and almost irritating village damsel,or the silent,introspective-turned happy go lucky poor little rich boy.Cliched to the limit, the "freshness" in the time tested boy-meets-girl by chance tale (blah!) is way over-hyped! The script? Please! The saving grace? Locations (yea,Manali is heavenly!) and the musical score.Watch it if you think Rs 160 isn't a ridiculous amount to waste on a movie ticket. (Seriously, what is it with these multiplex owners?)
Point (2) : OSO seems to doing better than Saawariya...but I'd still watch Saawariya first!
Point (3): Child labor? Ah,but you aren't a child anymore, are ya?! Welcome to the dark side...lotsa work, but lotsa fun too! Driving licenses, alcohol,no late night time limits...muahahahaha!
